Helping anxious children and teens feel calmer and more confident
ABOUT LAUREN WOLFE MS, LPC

I care deeply about helping children and teens feel less afraid, more calm and grounded, and able to take healthy risks so they can live full, wholehearted lives. Supporting kids who struggle with anxiety has been the heart of my work for more than 20 years.
I have worked with children in some capacity since I was eleven years old. Whether babysitting, working as a camp counselor, or playing the sheriff in a kids’ cabaret show, working with kids always came naturally to me. Those early experiences eventually led me to focus my career on helping children, teens, and their families.
In my work, I like to use creativity and a sense of fun to help kids build confidence, move outside their comfort zone, and find more calm and connection in their lives.
I use a mix of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention (the gold standard treatment for OCD), Internal Family Systems, Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy, and Emotional Freedom Technique, as well as Pain Reprocessing Therapy.
I am also the creator of the podcast Your Zen Friend, which has over 200 episodes supporting parents of anxious kids and teens.
When I am not working, you might find me on my yoga mat, reading, or spending time with my two young adult children. I also love daily walks with my husband and our dogs, Luigi and Snoopy.
